Mosconi Cup III

The stars above Kents Hill last night witnessed what is fast becomming a highlight of the Milton Keynes Pool Calendar as John Clavey's famous shed held the 3rd Mosconi Cup. With Clavey, Minister and Gee being the only existing Mosconi players there was a lot fo new talent on show.

Knockout Cup 2009

Sunday 26th april was the bucks interleague ko
cup at the herald, Milton Keynes.

The day started off badly with the discovery that Amersham
were not going to turn up, this caused all the plans of the organiser to be
changed and the format of the day altered at the last minute ? thank you
Amersham!

Once the matches got underway it became obvious that the mk
b team were playing very well and were unlucky not to have won more matches,
narrowly loosing to the three top teams.

But the day belonged to mksc who played some steady pool all
day to deservedly win the cup.

Runners up Aylesbury were loud and provided their usual
entertainment, some things and some people never change!

Top player on the day was jody willers with 7 wins, also
well done Victoria Griffiths and terry davison with 6 wins.
