11(a)  Each match to consist of 11 single frames.  Five different players to play the first 5 frames, any 5 players may play the next 5 frames. The 11th, and final frame may be played by any player, even a player who has played twice before.  No player may play consecutive frames.  All 11 frames must be played.

(b)         Points system – two points for the match winning team.

(c)          League positions will be decided by a team’s “POINTS”, if level then “FRAME DIFF”, if level then “AGGREGATE SCORES BETWEEN THE TWO TEAMS” – if at the end of the season these are level between two or more teams, then the “LEGS FOR”, in the matches where the tied teams, played against each other, will be used.  If still level then a playoff will be arranged by the Committee at a neutral venue. If The Top two Teams Finish Level on Points Aggregate scores between the two teams will count first. 

2      All games to be refereed by a League registered player. The “HOME” team to provide referees for odd numbered frames, “AWAY” team to provide a referee for the even numbered frames.  The toss of a coin decides the “BREAKER” before each and every frame.

3(a) Teams to be registered at the presentation/registration/night. The fee of £60 per team must be paid on the night.

  (b) Players to be registered before the first match of the season, It will be £1 per player to register A limit of 12 players per team. all players must sign the registration form.

(c) Additional players may be registered at any time during the season until week 12,   the fee for this is £2.00 to be paid in Advance of any match no player can be signed on without contacting the league Secretary first.

(d)         Once a player has played for a team, he/she may not play for any other team. Any late payments of registrations can result in suspension from the League.  All written communications will incur a fine of £10.00 + expenses.

4(a) The Results of fixtures must be Submitted on the poolapplive app in the event of the app

Cannot be used fill in a score sheet; and what’s app the score card to the League Secretary immediately    after the match Failure to present this card to the League secretary will result in the deduction of points.

 (b) The captain of both teams will be responsible for Submitting on the live app. the app will generate the player Rankings

(c) If any games are in dispute, the captain must report it to the league secretary straight away

5 (a) Tables must be available for play at 7:15pm for a prompt start at 7:30pm.  If circumstances dictate that players will be delayed for a match, then captains must communicate with the opposing captain regarding these circumstances.  Failure to communicate or non-arrival by 8:15pm will result in the aggrieved team receiving walk over points. Teams receiving walkover points must fill in the first 8 frames with player’s names and submit as 8 wins

(b) Players arriving late may participate in the match, provided that match continuity is maintained.  A maximum of 5 minutes should be allowed between frames.  If players who are due to arrive late, do not arrive, or do not arrive in time to maintain match continuity, and this results in their team being left with less than 4 players, rule 5(c) will apply.

 (c) Should a team fail to turn up, or produce less than 4 players The offending team will lose the match 8-0. Walkover

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6(a) There are two Postponed Games allowed. None in the last 4 weeks of the season A minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given to the opposing team and the League Secretary.  Should a team fail to turn up the offended team will win 8-0 walkover                                                                                            

(b) All rescheduled games must be played by the next free week from the cancellation.  If the game is not played on the next free week the opposing team will receive walkover points.

(c) The League will automatically disband any team failing to turn up or produce less than 4 players on three separate occasions, during one season, the team and players excluded/removed from all League organised competitions. 

7 (a) Any team playing a player under another player’s name will be suspended from the League immediately and League membership of captain’s, or their deputy’s, responsibility for selection of that player, will be revoked indefinitely.

(b) Any team caught falsifying a result, or conspiring to “FIX” a result will be suspended from the League immediately.

8 (a) Any team playing an unregistered player, without the consent of the League (see rule 3(d)) will be deducted 2 points per unregistered player.  The Captain or deputy responsible for the selection of said player/s will be liable to disciplinary action.

(b) Frames which these unregistered players competed in, will be awarded to their opponents, and the match result recalculated on this basis, unless, rule 8(c) applies.

(c) In addition to rule 8(a), if this results in the team having less than 5 registered players on the night, rule5(c) will be invoked.

9 (a) Complaints regarding all matters are to be submitted in writing, and to arrive at the Herald Sporting Club, within 72 hours of the incident in question.  All written communication will be dealt with at the next scheduled Committee meeting.  If the incident is deemed serious or urgent, a meeting will be arranged A.S.A.P.  In either case, the Committee may wish to have certain people, who were involved, present at the meeting.  These people will be notified in writing and in all cases, MUST ATTEND>

(b) All complaints arriving after the 72 hours deadline will not be brought before the Committee (except rule 9(d).

  (c) All complaints will be given a fair hearing and settled by the Committee,

       Whose decision is FINAL!

(d) The Committee may investigate any situation privately at any time

(without written communication from its members) and take appropriate action where necessary.

 

  World 8 Ball Pool Rules MUST be displayed at each venue.

The following exceptions to the World Rules apply in MKSIPL: The 60 second rule will not be applied;

Proposals for the next Season must be submitted in writing no later than 72 hours before the A.G.M

 

 

The Committee will be made up of A Secretary, Chairman, and Treasurer, and 5 members of the league. Anyone interested preferably with a e-mail address A form will be given to you on presentation/registration night.
