Bucks A v West Berks A - Match Report

Captains Log...
Pool Date 18-5-2014...

The weather was beautiful, the teams in shorts, Captain Chappell had his inspirational odd illuminous socks on (that matched an Irish flag!), Langers had an hours sleep, Feore 2 beers in, Willers having an early soft drink, Douglas' potato in full volume, Bowden practicing pinching Chappells leg hair (c*ck), Whitton in his new team shirt then.......... Rutter & Cunningham were early!! What could go wrong...

Well nothing in the opening 17 frames! 14-3 up and cruising with frames from Bowden x2, Whitton x2, Willers x2, Chappell x2, Feore x2, Langley x2 Douglas x1 & Cunningham x1, however this is where Bucks took their feet off the pedal only winning 3 from the next 13 with Rutter, Willers and Langleys sexy break-dish, keeping the teams nose in-front

so with the score poised at 17-13, up stepped Chappell and Whitton. Chappers, dishing to get the draw then Alex Whitton, making his home debut, solidly taking out a tidy finish to give Bucks the win.

The final four frames were shared with the impressive Langley and Willers each finishing the day unbeaten!

Final Score ---- Bucks A 21-15 West Berks A

A great start to the season for the A with 2 wins from 2 and now we look forward to the next match on the 1st June home to Berkshire!
