Starting February

First I will be running a singles league for up to 10 players.

No fixed night.

One match per month. Played to Blackball rules.

The format will be the usual shed singles league format, but will now be a best of 16 frames, 2 points for a win, 1 for a draw, head to head result if level on points. Seeded knockout finals for the top five players.

With ten players there will be nine rounds, Starting February, Ending October. Finals knockout in November. There will be one round per month, so each of the five matches arrange their own day to play each match (preferably evenings). Any match not played (or claimed) by the end of each month will simply go down as a draw.

£20 entry.
£100 to the winner, £50 to the runner up.

Second I will be running a Scotch Doubles Blackball Challenge Ladder.

Free to enter

Pick a partner and stick your names down.

Whenever you want, you simply challenge another pair above you on the Ladder. Race to 7 (or more if you wish)

Lose the challenge and the ladder stays as it is. You next challenge can not be the same pair and this match (you can re-challenge after playing another pair if you wish)

Win and you replace the pair on the Ladder, the losing pair are then split, the team at the bottom of the ladder also split and two new teams are formed.

Challenge Continues until the end of November, winner will receive a medal each :)
