was ok once upon a time for both sunday and tuesday to be world rules. all i asked for was a vote.
From a personal point of view, i will not be playing any more world rules leagues

By the way whats wrong with keeping the world rules for sunday, trouble is
every time we change the rules we always seem to lose a few teams because of it,
and there is not that many left anyway, is there ?

thats fine Dave, just a word about choice... people have quoted that it wouldn't be right to have BB rules on both days... I suggested a vote and that is how decisions should always be made..
Out of interest Dave, when you said 'we' have discusses BB rules, who are the 'We'?

Ok every one we have discussed blackball rules but have decided next season will be world. rules with a view of having a ballot on a change half way through next season so if you can't wait till then maybe you should just play Tuesday at the moment we have a lot of new teams in the league and another 1 or 2 joining next season would be very confusing for them in my opinion I think world rules would win the ballot ok can we now get back to what this thread is for who is in next season or out if you must carry on discussing it please open a general thread thanks

having two sets of rules on one night would be rediculous. Some players struggle with one set of rules, so certainly wouldn't cope with two.

Not gonna lie, the reason i dropped out of tuesday league was because blackball was introduced,
I honestly think there still should be that balance of keeping tuesdays as blackball and sundays as world, that way people do haver the choice of what ruleset they want to play as opposed to being suffocated by 1 ruleset, im also with pete on the aspect of having the frames split being a bad idea, just makes things messy,

for me, Tuesday should be blackball and sunday stay as WR so that everyone who wants to play can play the ruleset of their choice, IMO

if people couldn't get their heads around this idea maybe its their heads that's the problem not the idea

I really don't like this idea. Why split it up? Seems really disorganised to me.

It would be like in the snooker league having some normal frames, then power snooker, then 6 reds, then 15 second shot clock in place. It doesn't make sense. It should be one rule set for a whole night. The room for confusion is large, arguments will happen.

Having the two different rule sets should exist, to give the choice to players/teams what they want to play. Personally I prefer blackball over world; however if both leagues were to become blackball, I know a lot of people would be upset.
