We have been called a few names, The Royal Oak, Deanshanger and Mk Minions but I can finally post this 9 in a row not bad for a "mid table team"! Not sure which name I like the best???

As Dave says, the Moskoni is an invitational event.
Each year I invite a number of my best pool playing friends to have a fun night with me in the Potting shed playing a crazy game of nineball on an eightball table to something like the real Mosconi Cup format (Come On Europe!)
I don't judge on pool playing ability and we always try to balance the teams so it is sort of competitive.
Many different people have played in this over the years and so far each one has been a great success (even if last year we never finished the match)
Each year we are over subscribed for this.
Each year those that have played every year since this started are automatically invited (unless we have lost touch in the meantime) and a number of other players are picked, up to a maximum of 10 (exception was last year where we had none playing captains and 12 was too many for the Shed I think). I also have one or two reserves in mind if anyone has to drop out.
So as John has dropped out now, Alex is now drawn in.
There now remains about six other players who have either entered their names on here or PMed me recently who I can call on if anyone else has to drop out.
We also planned to have qualifiers this year to win your place in one of the teams, but unfortunately this never happened due to lack of response.
Those that haven't been invited are either on my waiting list or have been intentional left out this year for one reason or another, I am not going to name names either way because that isn't how I do things. Maybe these players will get an invite next year OR maybe they wont.
