With respect to all;

I had asked if postponing cup matches were possible weeks in advanced! If Dave had said it was not possible. I would have found a way to field a team, even if it was me and four others who could only hold cues.

I would never just give a walk over, that is not the way I do things! Perhaps people should know the whole story before calling people things!

Just to clarify, most of our team were also under the impression that our captain had taken the option to claim the game. Our captain also thought the game had been claimed following a drunken conversation only to find an amended draw the next day. So yes Jimmy, most of the Dove team had a similar view to yourself...
