Yes, It's that time again......

This will be the 6th annual running of this event in the Shed.

Currently Europe are ahead with 3 wins to 2 against USA

The usual 9 ball format, singles, scotch doubles, triples, quads etc. etc.

Same format as 2010/2011 - 5 man teams.

To take place Friday the 7th December. Starting at 7:00pm

Stick your name down if interested, last years players will get first refusal then I will do a random draw for the remaining places.

Captains last year were SeniorHustler and Blackballed, Do both of these wish to stand again?

Race to 2 for Singles games and Races to 3 for team games...

6:00pm Warm up and Practice

7:00pm Start (Don't be late otherwise you will miss your shot)

Match 1 Team match (all 5 to play)
Match 2 Doubles match
Match 3 Singles match
Match 4 Doubles match
(All players to have played once in Matches 2 - 4)

8:30pm

Match 5 Singles match (Cannot be the same player as Match 3)
This player is picked by the opponent's captain.
Match 6 Doubles match
Match 7 Singles match (Cannot be the same player as Matches 3 and 5)
Match 8 Doubles match
(All players to have played once in Matches 6 - 8)

9:30pm

Match 9 Doubles match
Match 10 Singles match (Cannot be the same player as Matches 3, 5 and 7)
Match 11 Doubles match
(All players to have played once in Matches 9 - 11)

10:30pm

Match 12 Doubles match
Match 13 Singles match (Must be the player who did not play in Matches 3, 5, 7 & 10)
Match 14 Doubles match
(All players to have played once in matches 12 - 14)

11:30pm

Match 16 Singles match
Match 17 Singles match
Match 18 Singles match
Match 19 Singles match (All players to have played once in matches 15 - 19)
Match 20 Singles match (This player is picked by the opponent's captain)
Match 21 Singles match - Captains pick. (Cannot be the same player as match 20)

The Captains may not use the same pair twice. There are seven doubles matches and a possible 10 pairings.

How does this differ from the REAL Mosconi?

1) We use a 7 foot table and smaller balls.
2) Jump shots are not allowed. So no silly cues needed.
3) No 30 second time clock used. Take your time, hurry up!
4) Shorter matches, Race to 2 Single, 3 for team games.
5) No illegal breaks if less than 3 balls pass the baulk line.
6) Players must drink, over night stays are welcome if you drive over.
7) Players will bring their own drinks. (Shots as well)
8) Losing players are required to drink a shot.
9) No Live audience (No room in the shed) ShedCam viewers only please.
10) If you drive then expect to get force fed shorts....
