Its oddly difficult to write a match report when only 8 frames from 44 have been lost. Everyone was brilliant, if a little on the quiet side. Quite possibly the disturbing sight of the Girl with a Pearl Earring turning up disguised as the Yorkshire Ripper. And sadly, no sign of Colin Firth either.

Herefordshire Ladies turned up with 8 players, one short of the minimum number required to play the match. Fortunately they managed to sign someone up on the day. Not ideal, but at least it wasn?t a wasted trip.

Anyway, too many highs to bang on about, so in a nutshell, the Bunnies were great.

First session 10-1.

Second session 7-4 (ruuuuuuubbish)

Third session 10-1

Fourth session 9-2

Final match score, 36-8 woohooooooo

All in all, a fantastic result for the Buns. Wookie aside, the big guns lost most of the 8 frames between them, and this was a fantastic team effort with maximums coming from Jo Coe, Claire McEwan, Sarah Wilkins and Emma Cunni ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz. 3/4s from pretty much everyone else.

Player of the Match was a deserving Claire McEwan. Wookie still undefeated and still POM-less. Obviously just not putting the effort in, lazy cow.

Whilst its great to be putting in massive wins, I hope the Bunnies are getting some close matches in other leagues. Should we qualify for intercounty finals 2010, we?re unlikely to be decimating the first session to leave ourself a big fat comfy cushion for the rest of the match. So far this year, there hasn?t been any looking over shoulders, with every frame vital for the match result. We don?t want to be buckling through inexperience under pressure, so hope you?re getting match play elsewhere ladies.

Surprise result of the day was a superb effort from Warks Ladies to draw with Oxthants, and having been 22-20 up, apparently disappointed not to win it. This leaves the bunnies a measley 42 points clear at the top, at the half way stage. Next target, the 50 point margin that clears a full match worth of points.

Congratulations to the boys, great to have another Bucks clean sweep.
