So it's that time again; Beds Pool Invitational Event Part 2
Sunday 3rd August, 10:00am (start at 10:30am) @ DUNSTABLE SNOOKER CLUB for the "so called" top players around here lol
Entry fee is ?30 per player.
All entry fees will go straight into the prize fund.
Tables are on free play.
Pro-Cup balls to be used*
All matches to be played to be played to World Rules.
Doors open at 10:00am for registration with prompt 10:30am start for the competition.

After the success of the first event which took place on 4th May, it seems like there has been a good indication of interest from players who did not compete on that day. So that in consideration, I have decided to step the competition up a gear.
This time I am looking for EITHER 24 minimum players OR 32 maximum players from the listed players that I have compiled, to compete in this competition.
Please note, that we DO NOT want 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 or 31 players; as the format will NOT work.
COMPETITION THEORY ONE, 24 PLAYERS.

Early stages will be in a Round Robin format, 4 groups, with 6 players per group.
Top 4 from each group will go through to the K.O final stages which will be drawn seedingly and then be played in that format then onwards until the end of the competition.
All matches in the Round Robin will be first to 5 frames.
Last 16 will be first to 6 frames.
Quarter Finals will be first to 6 frames.
Semi Finals will be first to 7 frames.
Finals will be first to 7 frames.
If we get a the minimum* entrants based on 24 players paying ?30 totaling ?720,* the prize money will be distributed as the following. *
Each Group Winners 4 x ?15.* (HOWEVER, If you go on to make the semi finals onwards in the competition; this particular fund will be passed down to the next positioned placed player in your relative group and so passed.
EXAMPLE,

1st placed makes it to the semi finals or better, then 2nd place gets the fund.
1st placed and 2nd placed both make it to the semi finals or better, then the 3rd placed gets the fund. And so on.) [if not understand, please feel free to ask]
Losing Semi Finalist 2 x ?100.*
Runner Up 1 x ?180.*
Winner 1 x ?280.*
COMPETITION THEORY TWO, 32 PLAYERS.

Top 2 from each group will go through to the K.O final stages which will be drawn seedingly and then be played in that format then onwards until the end of the competition.
All matches in the Round Robin will be first to 4 frames.
Last 16 will be first to 5 frames.

Semi Finals will be first to 7 frames.
Finals will be first to 7 frames.
If we get the maximum** entrants based on 32 players paying ?30 totaling ?960,** the prize money will be distributed as the following.**
Losing Quarter Finalists 4 x ?35.**
Losing Semi Finalist 2 x ?115. **
Runners up 1 x ?230.**
Winner 1 x ?360.**

Entry payment must be paid in full to myself before the competition by SUNDAY 13TH JULY to guarantee your space in the competition on a first come first served basis. First 24 players to make their payment will be guaranteed their space in the competition.
Then it will be opened up to more afterwards up to the next 8 players making it into 32 runners. If I dont fulfill those 8, by SUNDAY 20TH JULY, Then those 8 will be refunded their money.
It would be a good day out playing pool in a competitive field for some decent prize money.
