New Shed League
Koopa
It would be nice to run another shed league soon (leading up to the Moskoni in December).

But currently I could only run this on a Friday evening.

I know Friday evening is not idea for some people. but if we get enough people interested Im happy to arrange a new league.

Could be singles or teams

Could be World Rules or Blackball rules

Could be ?5, ?10, ?20 or ?50

You decide...

Stick your name in here, lets see numbers first...

I'll have a go if it's singles.
Seriously, I don't exactly know when that UFO landed & dumped all these stupid people, but apparently they aren't coming back for them!

Churchill
Count me in ... especially for singles
You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is

I'm interested Grin

That's seven of us, looks like a goer then Smile

I'm thinking two mini leagues.

Early games 7:30pm and 8:15pm singles - Blackball rules - 6 frames - ?10 entry.

Later games 9:00pm scotch doubles - World or Blackball Rules - 8 frames - ?5 entry each.

OR

We could do some combinations, like we did for the triples ... One match each week starting at 8:00pm

four singles matches, best of 3s, 1 point each
scotch doubles match, best of 3, 1 point
speed pool, combined total, 1 point
card killer, last two standing, 1 point each
golf, 1 point
bowling, 1 point
?10 Entry each.

The latter sounds best for me. I like a bit of variety. Barring that singles is good

I agree, I get bored of all the usual pool, I always try to do something a little different Smile

I reckon 5 teams would be good. So just need a few more players.

Doubles and singles? On a Friday? In myyyyyy condition (too many on here too young for that)

How about several warm up Mosconi matches before the main event? Giving Churchill the chance to lose several cues before the end of the year, and making you a few extra quid selling new cues before xmas Koopa?

Seriously though, I dont think I have missed a single shed competition since the first one I was invited to, but not for me on a Friday Koopa. Ill save myself for the Mosconi (assuming I get invited of course)
Guess whos back, back again.

Koopa
No probs, I know Friday's are an issue for some Smile

But I have no other options currently.

This is just a one off, we will be back to Thursdays from next year.

Any more?

Cool, that's team one sorted Smile

Yeah 9 ball and snooker can be added Hillarious

It would be nice to get this sorted by this weekend and then start the following Friday.

So I will set a deadline for entry as this Sunday, capped at maximum 5 teams, but will run with 4 teams...

1) Chappers & Koopa
2)
3)
4)
5)

Reserves...
