Playing Format:

Six singles, three doubles, to old EPA rules, (www.epa.org.uk/rules.php).

In Doubles Play partners may consult until the cue ball is struck, any further discussion during their visit(s) will be deemed coaching.

Players picked alternately, Home team first.

Two Points are awarded for the ‘win’.

Alternate referees, Home Team First.

Referees are responsible for retrieving the balls, it is a standard foul to clear pockets or reposition the cue ball.

Referees must call ‘Touching Ball’.

Toss for Break each Frame.

Matches commence at 20.30. Visiting team should be allowed to practice, if they wish, 15 minutes prior to start.

Four players (minimum) required, to start, a match. If a team cannot be raised, please contact the opposing Captain and/or venue.

The winning Captain is to text the result (to Peter), at the end of the match and ensure that the match-card is handed in by 8pm Friday evening. Late card penalised by deduction of Two Points.

Venues may provide a buffet, but it is not obligatory.
